The filling is installed on the supply pipe of a closed-type heating system. It ensures constant pressure of the heat transfer fluid in the system by automatically replenishing the missing water. It opens the valve during the refilling phase, and once the process is complete, it closes it again, thus maintaining constant pressure. A threaded sleeve for a pressure gauge is also available, so that the pressure can be continuously monitored. The pressure is adjusted by a concealed (tamper-proof) screw.
