The module is installed in cases where chimney draft is insufficient, leading to lower efficiency, higher fuel consumption, and reduced heat output for the pellet stove. It is equipped with a centrifugal fan that can withstand high temperatures of exhaust gases – up to 250°C – and can operate in the presence of ash particles in the exhaust gases. This fan extracts gases from the outlet of the equipment and, using the pressure created by the fan, transports them to the chimney and discharges them into the atmosphere.
The fan unit is especially suitable for solid fuel boilers, where the combustion air is drawn in by the draft created by the chimney. When the draft is insufficient, the necessary amount of air is not supplied to the fuel, and the desired heat output cannot be achieved. The module creates additional draft, enhancing the natural chimney draft, thereby increasing the equipment's output. The design of the fan unit allows it to operate under high thermal loads, as well as in the presence of ash particles in the exhaust gases typically found when burning solid fuel (wood, coal, solid biomass).
