Wood Boiler Prity NS20, 21 kW – Reliable Central Heating with Wood and Coal

The wood boiler Prity NS20 is a compact and reliable solution for central heating of a house, holiday home or a floor of a house. It runs on wood and coal and is intended for installation in basements and utility rooms. With a nominal back boiler output of 18.2 kW and a maximum heat output of up to 21.2 kW, the boiler heats an area of up to 115 m² (about 450–535 m³). In addition to heating, the NS20 can also heat domestic hot water when connected to a water heater with a coil. The built-in capillary thermostat maintains the water temperature between 50°C and 90°C, and the mineral wool insulation reduces heat loss. With energy class A and an efficiency of 77.7%, the boiler provides economical heating. It is made in Bulgaria by Prity 95 Ltd – a manufacturer of heating appliances since 1995.

Efficiency and Energy Class

The Prity NS20 boiler meets the European Ecodesign requirements, which guarantees low harmful emissions, high efficiency and environmentally friendly fuel combustion. With energy class A, an efficiency of 77.7% and compliance with the Ecodesign standard, it provides economical and eco-friendly central heating. CO emissions are 1031.3 mg/Nm³ (at 13% O₂), and the maximum flue gas temperature is 283°C. The chimney diameter is 130 mm, with a top outlet.

Important for Installation and Operation

• An open heating system is recommended. In a closed system, a 1.5 bar pressure safety valve is mandatory. The boiler has no built-in overheating protection or emergency cooling coil.
• The boiler is placed on a stable, horizontal and non-combustible floor. The non-combustible base must extend at least 50 cm at the front and 30 cm at the sides.
• There must be no combustible objects within a radius of 80 cm around the boiler.
• Fresh air must be supplied to the room – at least 4 m³/h for every kW of output.
• It is recommended that the boiler has its own dedicated chimney. Consult a specialist before connecting.
• All parts of the system must be protected from freezing. With forced circulation, it is recommended to power the pump through a UPS. If there are copper elements in the system, protection against electrolysis is required (magnesium anode).
